There are a variety of access openings which can benefit from automation. Gates and garage doors are probably the first to come to mind. Less obvious, but equally suitable for automation are: + cellar and basement trap doors - for easy access to basements, wine cellars etc. + interior doors - many people like to automate a frequently-used door, for example a kitchen door. Sliding doors are particularly suitable for this but swing doors also are often automated. + pavement lights - glass-blocked or walk-on glass pavement lights which give light to basement windows can also be automated to provide ventilation and means of escape. |
